About Maker Hacks

Make Cool Things, Starting Now

Maker Hacks is a community for Makers.

Whether you are a retro computing fan, budding roboticist, 3D printer user, drone or copter-flyer, crafter, electronics tinkerer, or Arduino and Raspberry Pi hacker.

Together we learn how to build cool stuff, and keep up to date with what is happening in the world of making.

Chris Garrett

Chris Garrett, the founder of Maker Hacks, is NOT an expert in electronics, engineering, artificial intelligence or robotics. He is just like you, someone who loves to make things (especially things that do cool stuff) and who enjoys learning by doing. As he started learning he would share what he discovered, and a community started to form, first on Facebook, and now here.

As well as the Maker Hacks community, Chris is an admin/moderator of some other popular Facebook groups, so is always in touch with the maker community.

Advertising Inquiries

We are open to advertising inquiries, just keep in mind we are ethical, our opinions are impartial, and we work within Google’s guidelines.

We’re open to reviewing items you send to us, but we do not pay for postage and packaging. We do not make any promises, and if you do send us review items, we certainly do not promise a positive review, if we review your item at all (we get sent some crazy stuff, not all of it relevant).
